The level designs are nothing spectacular, but the difficulty of bosses as well as finding the locations of the sun-stones does increase, which I found very nice. Each comes with a variety of moves, depending on if you're next to an enemy or how you are pressing the directional buttons/joystick. There are a lot of fun abilities, approximately 20 by my count. A '2D' side scroller, this is a standard Kirby game with a lot of great power-ups and interesting/fun uses of the 3D effect, such as hoping back and forth between the front and the back of the screen and bosses that travel between the planes.
